Summer Events at Bridgeport Village

You know you love BPV—with restaurants, a movie theater, outdoor spaces and
s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g, there’s nothing better than calling in sick (coff, coff) and playing hooky BPV-style. Plus—you can visit many local retailers who have set up shop in the village. With that said, here are a few more reasons to head over there this summer!

1. The Summer Concert Series
   
   

   Intervision this Thursday Night

   Starting this Thursday night, they turn the gazebo into a sound stage, presented by KINK FM—and these are bands you dig. Bring the whole family and rock out for free! If you’re over 21, wander into the wine garden for delicious wines from Oak Knoll Winery. There are also surprises for everyone from village restaurants and event sponsors.

2. Camp Bridgeport
   
   

   MVP Dance this Wednesday

   Bridgeport Village and Radio Disney host free morning camps every Wednesday through the end of August. Zany and educational activities are great for kids of all kinds, from science buffs to yoga enthusiasts! No registration necessary.

3. Summer Sidewalk Sale
   
   This is why we love Bridgeport Village!!! Their Second Annual Sidewalk Sale features dozens of fabulous retailers including Goodnight Room—they’re offering 20–70% off a great selection of toys, gifts and more. Greeting cards at Oblation Papers & Press will be $1 or less, so you can build a solid stash for occasions to come, along with items marked 75% off (including Holiday 2007).
   
   Also this weekend, Design Within Reach will be hosting their largest-ever Oregon warehouse sale in the space across from Carl Greve jewelers.
