Get Out of Your Dinner Rut… for Good!
If you’re like us, each night’s dinner is a struggle. What’s in the fridge? Are we really having tacos again? And don’t tell me I have to go to the store again!
So in comes Relish! It’s an online weekly menu-planning service at www.relishrelish.com that helps you map out and prepare healthy and creative dinners—every night! Simply choose your weekly recipes, and the site gives you the most brilliantly formatted shopping list ever with ingredients coded by meal, then categorized by grocery store aisle, including a list of "items you probably already have" so you're not adding oregano to your list. Brilliant!
Plus all dinners are kitchen-tested (no more disasters!) and take 30 minutes or less to prepare. We absolutely positively love that. Choose from vegetarian menus, simple gourmet, super quick, slow-cooker/crockpot, low-calorie, and even kid favorites that don't include the word "nugget."
And did we mention that it’s budget-friendly? Five dinners and five sides will cost less than $85 per week—research shows enormous grocery savings if you have a plan and shop with a list, btw.
As if that weren’t enough, they also offer monthly freezer meals, fun dinner parties, seasonal desserts and healthy lunches. They do the planning for you—all you do is cook.
It’s only $7 a month to subscribe, and if you subscribe to Relish! now and enter the code Portland Picks, you’ll get a free kitchen gadget from Crate & Barrel!

Praline Pork Tenderloin
Prep and cook time: About 35 minutes
Serves 4
1 1/4 pounds pork tenderloin
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
Olive oil cooking spray
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place pecans in a small skillet and toast over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, until golden. Pour pecans into a small bowl and set aside.
3. Spray an oven-safe nonstick skillet with cooking spray and brown pork on all sides. Transfer pan to oven and bake until cooked through, about 20 minutes. (Careful of the hot handle!) Transfer pork to a cutting board and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
4. While meat is resting, pour off any grease then add sugar, syrup, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, scraping up any brown bits. Continue to cook, stirring, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in pecans. Serve sliced tenderloin with pecan sauce.
